Mauro Manno is senior researcher at CNR Institute of Biophysics; author of patents and several peer reviewed publications (H-index 27); contributed to int’l conferences with several abstract or invited lectures; editorial board of Scientific Reports and other journals.

Current research interests are: (i) stability of biomolecules and pathways leading to self-assembly of biologically relevant structures; (ii) mechanisms of inactivation of proteins involved in serpinopathies, a class of genetic conformational diseases; (ii) structural and mechanical properties of extracellular nanovescicles from human or natural sources, involved in physiological and oncogenic processes, as well as their engineering and biotechnological exploitation.
MM is founder and Adm board of the innovative start-up EVE-Biofactory.
